We understand that privacy online is important to users of our Site, either when accessing our Site, conducting business through our Site, or entering into a customer agreement with us. This statement governs our policies (the “Privacy Policy”) with respect to our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing the information we collect from those users of the Site (“Visitors”) who (i) visit without transacting business, and (ii) Visitors who register to transact business on the Site and make use of the various services offered by IQ Fiber (collectively, “Services”) or become customers of IQ Fiber by entering into customer agreements with the company whether through the Site or otherwise (collectively, “Customers”), including all past, existing, and future Visitors and Customers. This Privacy Policy identifies the information we collect, how we use and disclose that information, and what rights Visitors and Customers have in relation to it.
Scope of Privacy Policy
This policy applies to information we collect:
- On this Site.
- In email or any other electronic messages between you and this Site or you and the Company.
- When subscribing to our service offerings provided that the agreement for such services explicitly references this policy.
- Through mobile and desktop applications you download from this Site, such as IQ Fiber’s Smart Wi-Fi App, or elsewhere that provide dedicated, non-browser-based interaction between you and this Site or other IQ Fiber offerings.
When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy. Such information may include, but is not limited to, pageviews, device type, operating system, browser type, clicked promotions, and referrals.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
We automatically collect certain information from all of our Visitors and Customers when such parties navigate through the Site, including information like Visitors’ IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, geographic location and other identifying technical information. We may also automatically collect information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Site, and usage details. This information informs us on how to improve the quality and relevance of our Site to Visitors, as well as to maintain Site operability and online security.
We collect the following Personally Identifiable Information provided voluntarily from our Customers, including from prospective Customers, including: the names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses of Customers, and financial account information. We collect this information when Visitors or Customers elect to supply such information when registering to use our Site, when seeking additional information from us, when purchasing goods or services through the Site, or when subscribing to our service offerings.
We may also collect Personally Identifiable Information of third parties if such information is voluntarily provided by Visitors or Customers to us. In such cases, Visitors or Customers represent that they have obtained such third parties’ consent, or are otherwise legally authorized, to provide us with such information. Additionally, Visitors or Customers represent that for the third parties that they have provided such Personally Identifiable Information, they have informed such third parties of the disclosure to us and of the terms of this policy.
How else is Personally Identifiable Information collected?
IQ Fiber collects, and processes information provided directly by you when you install the IQ Fiber Smart WiFi App and register for an account to use the IQ Fiber Smart WiFi App. Through the IQ Fiber Smart WiFi App, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number
- Device information: IP address, device type, operating system
- Usage data: app features used, frequency of use
- Network data: connected devices, bandwidth usage
Does IQ Fiber collect Personally Identifiable Information from minors?
In compliance the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), our services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information and take steps to ensure that the child’s parent or legal guardian is notified.”. If any Visitors or Customers become aware of any Personally Identifiable Information collected by IQ Fiber from any person under the age of 13, please contact us immediately at support@iqfiber.com.
What organizations are collecting the information?
In addition to our direct collection of information, we may share such information with our third-party service vendors (such as credit card companies, clearinghouses and banks). Our third-party service vendors may also collect this information from our Visitors and Customers as required to perform such services.
We do not control how these third parties use such information. Some of these third parties may be intermediaries that act solely as links in the distribution chain, and do not store, retain, or use the information given to them. How does the IQ Fiber use Personally Identifiable Information?
We use Personally Identifiable Information for purposes based on our legitimate commercial interests, including to communicate with Customers about the Site, products, services and for other marketing purposes, to customize the Site, to customize new and existing service offerings, to fulfill the purpose for which you provided it either on the Site or through certain customer agreements where this policy is explicitly referenced, to comply with our legal obligations, and to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, Terms of Service, applicable customer agreements, and this policy. We may email Visitors and Customers about research or services related to the subject matter of the Site. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Visitors and Customers in response to specific inquiries, to enforce our terms, conditions and policies, or to provide requested information.
In addition, IQ Fiber uses the information collected as described in this Privacy Policy, including Personally Identifiable Information, to:
- Provide you with the App as described in the Agreement;
- Implement, improve and/or enhance the App or to provide App features, including to make future releases available to you;
- Carry out IQ Fiber obligations as described or authorized in the Agreement and this Privacy Policy;
- Enforce IQ Fiber rights arising from the Agreement between you and IQ Fiber; and
- Fulfill any other purpose authorized by you and reasonably required for the Smart WiFi App.
We may disclose aggregated information about our Visitors and Customers and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose Personally Identifiable Information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale, or transfer of some or all of IQ Fiber’s assets, in which the Personally Identifiable Information held by IQ Fiber about our Visitors and Customers are among the assets transferred.
Marketing information
In some places on IQ Fiber’s website, you can fill out a form to search if your address is available for service. We will ask you for information necessary to provide you a serviceability status for the address you search. We also ask you for an email address and phone number if you want the IQ Fiber team to stay connected with updates on construction in your area and company news. (Msg & data rates apply). If you do not agree to receive ongoing marketing communications from IQ Fiber, you can always choose to opt out of further communications. To opt-out of marketing communications, click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any marketing email, reply ‘STOP’ to any text, or email support@iqfiber.com. To update your preferences, click the “manage subscription” link found at the bottom of any IQ Fiber email. Please note, customers who are opted out of marketing notifications will continue to receive account and service-related information.
With whom may the information be shared?
We may share aggregated information about our Visitors, including the demographics of our Visitors and Customers, with our affiliated agencies and third-party vendors.
We may share your personal information with the following categories of third parties:
- Service providers who assist in providing our services
- Service providers who process payments
- Analytics partners to help us improve our services
- Marketing partners for promotional purposes (with your consent)
- We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law

While IQ Fiber takes its obligations to protect Personally Identifiable Information serious and we endeavor to securely stored such information, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Typically, this is for the duration of your account plus 7 years.
What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
Visitors and Customers may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from or being contacted by us and/or our vendors and affiliated agencies by responding to emails as instructed, or by contacting us at 904-289-1000.
Are Cookies Used on the Site?

IQ Fiber does not use any other tracking technologies for the purposes of collecting Personally Identifiable Information. IQ Fiber may use web beacons to collect anonymized data for advertising purposes.
How does IQ Fiber use login information?
IQ Fiber uses login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a user’s movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
What partners or service providers have access to Personally Identifiable Information from Visitors and/or Customers on the Site?
IQ Fiber has entered into and will continue to enter into partnerships and other affiliations with a number of vendors. Such vendors may have access to certain Personally Identifiable Information on a need-to-know basis for evaluating Customers for service eligibility. This Privacy Policy does not govern such third-party vendors’ collection or use of this information.
Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to comply with the Law
We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with applicable law, court order, subpoena or a request from a governmental or quasi-governmental agency to release information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Visitors and Customers.
How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. All of our employees that have access to Personally Identifiable information are familiar with our security policy and practices. Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?
We provide Visitors and Customers with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by emailing our Customer Support Team at support@iqfiber.com. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
Rights of Users of This Site
In certain instances, we may delete Personal Identifiable Information of certain users (i.e. information concerning a minor). You may contact us at support@iqfiber.com if you have any concerns regarding our data collection or disclosure practices. You also have the right to alert relevant regulatory authorities, but we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to first address any concerns.
What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?
We will let our Customers know about changes to our Privacy Policy by posting such updated Privacy Policy on the Site. However, if we are changing our Privacy Policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Customer to allow such Customer to prevent such disclosure. It is your responsibility to maintain and update your contact information so that we can contact you as necessary.
